SUPERSOLOLABS
Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026 · applies to supersololabs.com and the LowOrbit app
Short version
LowOrbit doesn't track you, doesn't show ads and doesn't sell anything about you. What it learns about your listening stays on your PC. This page explains the few things that do leave your computer, and why.
Who we are
SuperSoloLabs is a one-person independent developer making LowOrbit, a radio player for Windows. Questions about privacy go to support@supersololabs.com.
This website
supersololabs.com has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Like every website host, our host (Porkbun) may keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and protect the service. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to reply, handle your beta request or key, and fix what you report. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't share your email. Our email is provided by Purelymail.
Inside the app: what stays on your PC
Your listening history, stats, favorites, the taste the local AI learns, your EQ and sound settings, your card collection and your headphone choice are stored only on your computer. The STATS screen shows a running count of bytes sent about you, and it reads zero. Art remastering runs on your own PC.
Inside the app: what connects to the internet
To play radio, LowOrbit connects to each station's stream, and like any radio app, the station sees your IP address. To show song details, cover art and artist bios, LowOrbit looks up the song playing with public music databases: MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, AcoustID, Discogs, Wikidata and Wikipedia, Deezer, Apple's public music search and Radio Browser. A lookup sends what's needed to find the song, such as the artist and title. When a station doesn't say what's playing, LowOrbit may send AcoustID a short acoustic fingerprint, a compact summary of the sound, never a recording. For headphone correction, LowOrbit downloads published measurements from the open-source AutoEQ project. These services receive your IP address like any website does and follow their own privacy policies.
Activation
Your serial is checked on your own PC. LowOrbit creates a hardware code from your computer's parts so a key works only on the PC it was issued for. If you need a key moved to a new computer, you'll send us that code by email, and we use it only to issue your key.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade your information. We don't run ads, and we don't use your data to profile you.
Children
LowOrbit isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Preview builds
LowOrbit is in active development, so features, and with them what connects to the internet, may change. When that changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date below.
